Hi there, I'm Anika or A Makes Clay! A little about me - I am a proud Black Queer Woman and the creator of these beautiful, hand crafted collections. A few years back, I embarked on a journey with polymer clay earrings, and it was the best thing I have ever done. Each piece is a labor of love, meticulously crafted by hand, and released in limited, small batch collections. I am based in the Bay Area in California so watch for my exciting market announcements and discover the intersection of art, identity, and creativity. Stay tuned for more!

  • How long does it take to get my order?

    A Makes Clay has a processing time of 2-3 days. This does NOT include shipping times. We us USPS so typically customers get their products in about a week depending on location. You can track your order through the order status page!

  • What if I like a piece but want it with a different metal or different earring hook type?

    I don't do custom pieces yet but if it has to do with an allergy to gold or silver send me a message! I often can include that piece in the next drop.

  • What metals are used in your pieces?

    All pieces are made with silver plated and gold plated components. All pieces are nickel free!

  • What if my order gets lost?

    Send me a message via instagram or email directly and we can attempt to track the packages. Typically, you will need to file a complaint with USPS to start a claim.

  • Where can I buy from you in person?

    I post all markets that I sell at on my instagram @Amakesclay - You can see all my upcoming markets there. During markets I pause the site to make sure that our inventory is always correct.
